This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Shubharambh Matrimony ("The Company") and applies to all matrimonial services offered by the Company.

1. General Policy

The Company provides matchmaking and matrimonial services on a best-effort basis. Fees paid are for access to services and professional efforts, and not for a guaranteed marriage, engagement, or successful match.

2. Non-Refundable Fees

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Membership or subscription fees are non-refundable.
• Service charges for profile creation, verification, consultation, matchmaking, or other customized services are non-refundable once the service has commenced.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

• A customer may request cancellation of their membership at any time by contacting the Company.
• Cancellation of membership will stop future services where applicable but will not entitle the customer to a refund of fees already paid.
• Any unused portion of the membership period will generally not be refunded unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing by the Company.

4. Cancellation by the Company

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's account without refund if:

• False, misleading, or fraudulent information is provided.
• The user violates the Terms and Conditions.
• The user engages in abusive, unlawful, or inappropriate conduct.
• The user's activities adversely affect the Company's operations or other users.

5. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, including:

• Duplicate payment made due to a technical error.
• Payment processed successfully but the requested service could not be initiated due to an error attributable to the Company.
• Any other circumstance where the Company, at its sole discretion, determines that a refund is appropriate.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method, wherever possible.

6. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, the customer should submit:

• Full name
• Registered mobile number and email address
• Payment receipt or transaction ID
• Reason for the refund request

Refund requests should be submitted within 7 days of the payment date unless otherwise specified.

7. Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

• The Company will initiate the refund within 7–10 business days.
• The time taken for the amount to reflect in the customer's account depends on the payment provider or bank and may take additional time.

8. No Guarantee of Matchmaking Success

The Company does not guarantee:

• Responses from other members
• Suitable matches
• Meetings, engagements, or marriages

Accordingly, dissatisfaction with matchmaking outcomes or lack of responses does not entitle a customer to a refund.

9. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to provide services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or technical failures. Such circumstances will not automatically entitle customers to a refund.

10. Changes to This Policy

The Company reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. The revised policy will apply from the date it is published on the Company's website or otherwise communicated to customers.
